We support access to quality education by providing scholarships, school supplies, infrastructure development, and mentorship to learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Education remains a critical pathway out of poverty, yet systemic barriers persist. In Kenya, secondary school dropout rates are estimated at 15–20%, driven by poverty, early pregnancy, and regional inequalities, particularly in arid and informal urban areas. Furthermore, while thousands transition to tertiary education annually, youth unemployment remains high at over 35%, reflecting a mismatch between education and employable skills.
MFF responds by offering targeted scholarships, facilitating attachment opportunities for hands-on experience, and delivering soft skills training in areas such as communication, problem-solving, and digital literacy. These interventions aim to bridge the gap between education and employment, empowering young people to thrive in a competitive economy.
